National Indoor Athletic Centre (NIAC) Reconfiguration and Refurbishment Phase 2 Project

Description of the goods or services required
This tender exercise is the next step in implementing the contracting team to deliver the next phase of reconfiguration and refurbishment of the National Indoor Athletic Centre (NIAC) Phase 2 Project for Cardiff Metropolitan University at its Cyncoed Campus.
The aim of this tender exercise therefore is to appoint a contractor to deliver construction services to successfully deliver the NIAC Phase 2 Project for the new academic term, September 2024.
This follows the previous project phases completed to date within existing NIAC building located at Cyncoed campus.

There is also a minimum annual turnover threshold for the last financial year set at £1,000,000.00
A current ratio test of 1 is required from the bidders last set of audited accounts.

Additional Information
Under the terms of this contract the successful contractor(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the University’s economic and social objectives.
Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations.
The Community Benefits included in this contract are: non-core. Contractors are required to propose community benefit actions as part of their tender submission and reporting on this will form part of
the contract management process with the successful Contractor.
