Conwy County Borough Council is seeking a company to repair and refurbish the wooden statues and brass foot plaques along the Alice Trail in Llandudno, Conwy.

The aims and objectives of the trail are to repair and refurbish the following:

-Plaques – to provide those following the trail with clear markers when following the route across the town.

-Statues – these form the main part of the trail and are the main points of interest.

The commission will follow the below process:

-Step 1. Working closely with Tourism and Regeneration Officers at CCBC to review the current plaques and wooden statues.

-Step 2. Repair and refurbish all foot plaques and wooden statues as identified during the audit. This includes carrying out physical repairs on any statues which are missing parts where the wood has chipped off, as well as repainting the statues to a high standard.

The total cost for this project is between £22,000 and £32,000. Any submissions above £32,000 will be disqualified.

This project is commissioned by Conwy County Borough Council (CCBC) via Shared Prosperity Funding from the UK Government. For the avoidance of doubt, the successful bidder will be expected to enter a contract with CCBC only.
