The appointment will be subject to confirmation of funding prior to commencement, and then at stages during the conduct of the work. The client will reserve the right absolutely to terminate the contract at any stage-end on the basis of remuneration for work completed if, inter alia, the project does not proceed.

The design team group must be led by either the architectural operator or a qualified project manager. The client may require collateral and other warranties between itself ad the team members as the project proceeds.

Other particular conditions to which the performance of the contract is subject

The commission will proceed in stages, the first being to the completion of RIBA Stage 4. Thereafter, Galeri Caernarfon intends to act as the managing contractor for the procurement of sub-contract packages of works to implement the developed design, and will require support from the design team according to this procurement approach.

The lead partner must be an architectural practice registered as a chartered architect with the UK architectural registration bodies, or their equivalents, or must be a Project Management company of good standing, in which case the Architect team member must fulfil the above condition.
