II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Education Workforce Council (EWC) wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to develop a new website that is a service driven platform which promotes careers within the education workforce, promotes job vacancies and facilitates initial applications to improve its visibility and search rankings. The website should aim to be the initial helpdesk and ‘shop window’ for the sector’s workforce from applying for initial entry training to continued professional learning and career progression enquires.
The contract duration is 5 years with an option to extend (at the discretion of the EWC) for up to two additional periods of twelve months.
Notwithstanding that 'Section II.2.6 - Estimated Value' states that the estimated value of the contract is 400,000 GBP, the estimated value of the contract is between 300,000 GBP to 400,000 GBP, exclusive of VAT.
