Description of the goods or services required

We are seeking a clean room clothing rental and collection, disinfection and delivery service. The clothing must be low particulate shedding, suitable for use within EU Grade B clean rooms. The information below shows a description of the garments required.

A. Garment requirements

• Undergarments: tunic and trousers, for use in EU grade C clean room

• Coverall suitable for use in EU Grade B clean room

• Hoods suitable for use in EU Grade B clean room

• Over-boots suitable for use in EU Grade B Clean room

Sub Criteria A – Rental Requirements

• Undergarments: tunic and trousers, for use in EU grade C clean room

• Coverall suitable for use in EU Grade B clean room

• Hoods suitable for use in EU Grade B clean room

• Over-boots suitable for use in EU Grade B Clean room

• To meet the demand of supply as detailed in Item 2 of the Specification.

Sub Criteria B – Service Requirement

• Items packed individually in hermetically sealed bags to facility safe storage and transfer to clean rooms.

Sub Criteria C – Process

• Provide evidence of validated disinfection and laundering process with antistatic and microbial control.

• Provide evidence of Achieving GAMMA Irradiation for: Coveralls / Hoods / Overboots

• Provide written evidence of how the process will be carried out in controlled clean room, with environment monitored for both viable and non-viable particulates.

• Provide evidence to achieve Particle decontamination and the testing of items according to Standard Test Method for Sizing and Counting Particulate Contaminant In and On Clean Room Garment (ASTM F51/00) guidance.
