II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Gateshead College are seeking a local partner with their own world-class facilities, to support students studying courses in Music and Performing Arts.
The partner organisation will have appropriately qualified and experienced staff to support learners with the practical element of their studies. The partner organization will deliver a wide variety of instrumental sessions, as well supporting student performances. The partner organization must have facilities within walking distance of Gateshead College’s Baltic Campus, and have the flexibility to meet the demands of a busy curriculum timetable.
The partner organisation will assume joint responsibility for student success, support student recruitment events, and support College performances & live events, as well as ensuring all aspects of the learner experience are ‘Outstanding’.

The authority will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point that information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. If an appeal regarding the award of contract has not been successfully resolved then the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by breach of the rules to take action in the High Court.
