The service will provide a brief period of intensive support for people of Leeds experiencing a mental health crisis. Leeds OASIS will have sleeping facilities for up to 6 people and the potential to support a further 4 people who are in Crisis, but may need to remain in their own home for caring responsibilities. Leeds OASIS will provide short term emotional and practical support for people who are assessed by the Crisis Resolution Intensive Support Service (CRISS) or Older Peoples Intensive Home treatment Team (IHTT) as needing additional support to avoid admission to hospital. The house will deliver person centred support in a safe, comfortable environment without the often stigmatising effects and restrictions of a hospital admission. Residence in the House will be in order to support the person through the initial “Crisis” period and may be for as brief a period as 24hrs, but will be no longer than a maximum of 7 days.

The Contract Authority; NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board intends to award a contract to an existing provider following Direct Award Process C. The authority is publishing this notice in Find a Tender in accordance with the NHS Provider Selection Regime.
Leeds Oasis - The service will provide a brief period of intensive support for people of Leeds experiencing a mental health crisis.
