Abstract

The school counselling service in Denbighshire (DIYPCS) is required by the Welsh Government to report annually on each of the 500 (approx.) clients we work with every year (anonymised data). There are 19 questions relating to each client and data required includes equality monitoring information, presenting and predominant issues in counselling. Welsh Government also stipulate we must use the ‘YP Core’ questionnaire to measure psychological improvement before and after counselling. This speculative notice is to seek expressions of interest from suppliers who can provide an 'on the shelf' YP Core working database for all counselling referrals. The system should include the use of YP core clinical management to record each session with a client in counselling and have real time reporting. The system should have the ability to: - offer YP Core and Post Counselling Assessment in bilingual form and should provide comprehensive tracking - be compliant to the Welsh Language standards and the most recent accessibility legislation that applies to public bodies - organise the data required for reporting to WG withing specific timeframes. - identify those with severe psychological difficulties (according from their responses to the YP Core) and enable real time reporting on this aspect. - identify the clients at risk (according to their responses to the YP Core) and enable real time reporting on this aspect. - identify whether clients are making progress (or not) during their episodes of counselling, through tracking their responses to YP core over time, and enable real time reporting on this aspect. - allow reporting of referral / waiting times / episode length. - isolate particular schools/ particular age groups / particular counsellors /particular referral pathways and be able to report on all of the above with regard to them. In addition, it should have 2 factor authentication for maximum security and should also be compliant with GDPR regulations. The Authority is not in a position to enter into a development relationship with any supplier. If you are a supplier who is able to provide an 'off the shelf' solution that covers all of the above, please email procurement@denbighshire.gov.uk with relevant details of your solution by 12noon on 7th August 2024.
