Multi Use Games Area for the Pavilion Grounds in Wick

2.2

Description of the goods or services required

The Vale of Glamorgan Council (“the Council”) wishes to obtain a quotation to design and build a Multi Use Games Area (Muga) (“the Works”) at the Pavilion Sports Ground in Wick, Vale of Glamorgan.

The location of the open space is indicated in Appendix A.

You are invited to bid for design and supply of the Works.

The size of the MUGA to be supplied is:- 22m x 14m

Total quantity or scope of tender

The Works include the following activities.

• Design of new Muga

• Groundworks and drainage.

• Construction of a new (Muga) with macadam surfacing and fencing

• Surface lining to Muga

• Drainage installation around to Muga.

• Installation of new porous macadam footpath with Precast Concrete edging and drop kerb to match existing kerbs.

• Supply, plant and establish trees as identified on drawing and as per specification.

All Works must be undertaken in accordance with the Council’s brief and approved contractor’s plan

The site is open to be viewed at any time. Bidders may wish to visit site with the Council’s representative. The representative will be available on the following date – Tuesday 6th July 2020 from 10:00am - 1:00pm.
