Abstract

Patient flow software services for Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust within the Kent and Medway sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP).

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust (MTW) is presently reviewing delays in patient flow activity to understand how best to ensure expedient turnaround of vacant bed-bays, equipment tracking and associated activities.

The Trust has not yet definitively determined those requirements which may be in scope, in what volumes and over what time frame the provision of these services will be required. In line with the requirement to introduce 'Scan for Safety' the Trust is additionally considering how best to meet this need and whether this ought to be one requirement. Providers must note that the Trust has not determined the most appropriate route to market.

Providers should note that while this is presently a MTW Trust requirement, the provisions of this PIN encapsulates all NHS Trust's within the Kent and Medway STP in the event one or more Trusts within the STP seek to jointly Contract for any provision under this potential requirement.

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform prospective providers of a potential intention to seek to enter into a contract(s) with a provider(s) for the provision of these services. To support in this, and to gain market intelligence/ feedback, the Trust (MTW) may hold a market engagement event and/or individual provider discussions.
