II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The authority has a one off requirement for the supply, delivery and installation of thermodynamics laboratory equipment to assist in the delivery of Engineering Training at HMS Sultan. The requirement is for two small engine test beds, one two stage compressor test set and two self contained twin gas shaft turbines. Each is to include a one year warranty and hard copy maintenance handbook. Training ion the equipment is also required. Contract start date and end dates are an estimate and subject to change.

This notice advises that the authority has decided to negotiate a contract with the named supplier on a single source basis and is published for reasons of transparency. If you are interested in becoming a sub-contractor for this requirement you should apply to the named above

No tenders or no suitable tenders/requests to participate in response to restricted procedure
Explanation:
It is considered that this contract can be placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice pursuant to regulation 32(2)(a) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (Article 32(2)(a) of Directive 2014/24/EU.) This is because this contract was previously advertised under OJEU contract notice reference 2019/S 226-554500 under the restricted procedure, but only one suitable response, from TecQuipment Ltd, was received. TecQuipment Ltd is therefore considered to be the only supplier able to fulfil this contract.
