MWS Demonstrator Marine Operations

Description of the goods or services required

Marine Power Systems’(MPS) mission is to become a world leader in the manufacturing and supply of marine energy extraction hardware by having the highest performance and most cost-effective technology available in the market.

MPS will demonstrate its sector leading wave energy converter and floating offshore energy platform system at the grid connected BiMEP test site in northern Spain. The Megawatt Scale (MWS) Demonstrator project will begin operation in early 2023.

The project has been part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government

and significant private investment has been received to support the project.

As part of this project we are now seeking an experienced contractor to complete the The MWS marine operations work package, which covers three distinct work flows: Anchor EPCI, System installation & hook-up of the MWS demonstrator at BiMEP and ongoing supporting O&M activities.

Interested parties must sign a NDA in order to receive full details of the work package and to participate within Stage 1 (Pre-Qualification) of the procurement process. A blank NDA is available for download through Sell2Wales. The candidate shall email the completed and signed NDA to the following address and include “L-TEND-29" in the ‘Subject’ of the email:
