Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) invites bids from suitable companies for the printing and dispatch of their garden waste subscription stickers, envelopes and terms and conditions as a complete and inclusive service.

Twelve (12) month contract – plus an option of an optional 12 months extension.

The garden waste service is a chargeable kerbside collection service that runs this year from 5th September until 1st September 2023. Residents are invited to sign up early from 27th June onwards to receive collections for the time-period specified above. They can sign up for a maximum of 8 permit stickers. After signing up, the resident is sent a garden waste permit in the form of an adhesive sticker for their bin. The permit serves as an aid to the collection crew in identifying which properties are signed up to the service.

It is recognised that the actual annual subscription quantities can vary from year to year. The current year 2021/22 has a subscription level of approximately 27,000 totalling approximately 29,000 green bins subscribed.

However due to replacement stickers and re-location stickers being required the actual quantity required will be in excess of the count of subscribers. The suggested figure will allow for approximately 35,000 subscriptions per year and is an estimate and used to quantify the likely number of sticker templates, envelopes and terms and conditions required for any one year.

In addition to this some other subscriptions are required for Churches, Bowling Clubs etc. – approximately 60 locations amounting to approximately 100 green bins subscribed.

Click on the PQQ/ITT code, you can now access any attachments by clicking the “Settings and Buyer Attachments” in the “Actions” box.

3. Responding to the tender.

You can now choose to “Reply” or “Reject” (please give a reason if rejecting);

You can now use the ‘Messages' function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification;
