Please provide a detailed description of the notice you are adding:
The provision of a specialised Boat Management Service ensures that His Majestys Coastguard (HMCG) vessels are fit for purpose and deliver an effective training and operational response requirement with minimal reduction in service quality whilst maintaining value for money.
The requirement shall include scheduled and unplanned maintenance services, management and breakdown service. Vessel management service are an essential organisational requirement based on a strategic decision for HMCG vessels to provide a full training and emergency/operational response as required to be managed by a specialised and efficient service provider.
MCA is reserving this procurement for Service Providers based in the Hampshire area only under the scope of Procurement Policy Note (PPN) 11/20 – Reserving Below Threshold Procurements, and in accordance to the requirements set out in Public Contracts Regulation 2015 the requirements shall also be subject to the Light-Touch Regime requirements.
