Abstract

Derbyshire County Council have sought tenders from interested parties for the cleansing of highways gullies, catchpits, linear drainage systems, culverts and any other drainage system for which Derbyshire County Council is responsible, including the cyclical cleansing, planned cleansing and reactive cleansing of highway drainage assets. The cyclical cleansing element of the works will cover the following areas of Derbyshire, to be performed by a single supplier.

• Amber Valley Borough

• Bolsover District

• Chesterfield Borough

• Derbyshire Dales District

• Erewash Borough

• High Peak Borough Council HPBC

• North East Derbyshire District Council NEDDC (priced but not in initial scope)

• South Derbyshire District Council SDDC (priced but not in initial scope)

Note – for NEDDC, SDDC the gully cleansing service is currently operated under an Agency Agreement with Derbyshire County Council. The inclusion of this element of service within the contract scope may or may not change during the term of this contract

The reactive element of these works, will cover the whole of Derbyshire County Council’s area.
