Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is seeking costed tenders for survey works to be undertaken at sites in the Mersey Estuary.
Observations are required to deliver a program of oceanographic, passive acoustic and sediment and water quality monitoring. This monitoring is needed to support:
- modelling of the physical oceanographic regime of the estuary and its influence on the water/sediment quality,
- assessments of marine mammal species presence, abundance and habitat use in the Mersey and adjacent areas.
