They range from speech and language therapists who visit children at home, to a stroke rehabilitation team that helps people get well after they have left hospital, to specialist diabetes nurses and more. They are crucial to a successful NHS. If more people can get well and stay healthy without having to visit a doctor or go to hospital, people will be happier and healthier and it will reduce some of the pressure on our health system.
