Description of the goods or services required
The Pembrokeshire Creamery Ltd. plant is a purpose-built 3000m2 dairy processing site, to be commissioned 1st quarter 2023, and fully operational by first quarter of 2023 on a green field site at Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire.
It aims to process approx. 1,000,000 litres of liquid milk per week with options to increase milk bottling capacity and processing of cream products in the future.
The facility is designed to meet the highest standards in the dairy industry and aims to be accredited to the latest BRC standard. The building will need to be designed, constructed and commissioned to meet BREEAM Excellent standard and suppliers must ensure that all goods and services provided will meet the relevant sections of the BREEAM standard.
The doors and windows supply is part of a major project to construct a new building for milk processing plant at the Haverfordwest site. The installation of the Office area will be delivered in conjunction with other major civil works on site but splits into distinct phases with work being carried out by other suppliers engaged by the Purchaser and at the same time that the exterior cladding is being installed.

Total quantity or scope of tender
The requirements of this tender are to design, supply and install on site the Office area as per the Powell Dobson schedules, (20)210A, (20)301A, (20)214A, (20)223, (22)201A, (30)500, (30)501A, (31)200A, (35)200A, (40)200A.
The scope for the Office area is to complete all works within the office area, including all doors, up to the changing rooms and the new link to the bottle store, excluding door No’s DG40-01, DB11-02 and DG11-03. All door and windows in the office side of this threshold are to be included within the office fit out schedule. The external access door, windows surrounding the office area are to be included as part of this tender. The door and window schedule have been included as part of the drawing package.
The area will be handed over as an empty block, this scope covers the work for all flooring, internal walls, doors, windows, ceiling and wall finishes to complete the office area, including office furniture, toilet furniture and partitions. All electrical and IT work are to be excluded, a separate tender package will be issued for these elements. The water feed to the toilets, canteen is to be included, a water feed will be brought to the interfacing wall for connecting onto, the supply and installation of the extraction systems for the toilets and canteen are to be included, the power supply to these will be carried out by others.
It would be beneficial for the client that the cost be supplied as a broken down cost for each element, with details of the furniture proposed, supplied for approval.

Minimum standards and qualification required
A proposed supplier shall be deemed to have satisfied itself before submitting its tender as to the accuracy and sufficiency of the prices and rates stated in the pricing schedule contained in that tender which shall (except in so far as it is otherwise provided in the contract) cover all obligations under the contract and a proposed supplier shall also be deemed to have obtained for itself all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and any other circumstances which might reasonably influence or affect its tender.
The proposed supplier is responsible for obtaining all information necessary for the preparation of its tender and all costs, expenses and liabilities incurred by a proposed Supplier in connection with the preparation and submission of a tender shall be borne by the proposed supplier.
