Education Authority for Northern Ireland has awarded the following competition - Contract for the Repair of Floor Maintenance Machines throughout Northern Ireland. This Contract has been established on behalf of EA, Primary and Post Primary schools under the control of the EA, Catholic Maintained Schools, Independent Schools in NI, Irish Medium Schools in NI, both Controlled and, Voluntary Grammar Schools, Nursery School for NI both controlled and Catholic Maintained, school meals kitchens on-site at all of these schools, and Controlled Youth Centres. https://www.education-ni.gov.uk/services/schools-plus. • Grant Controlled Integrated Education Schools in NI. https://www.nicie.org/parents/school-finder/. •Independent School in NI; and. https://www.isc.co.uk/schools/northern-ireland/. • Libraries NI. https://www.librariesni.org.uk/Libraries/. The value shown in 11.1.7 is for two of three lots/localities - £340,000 per lot/locality excluding VAT. This value has been calculated on the basis of a two year Contract with the option to extend for one period of two years and a further optional extension of one year and includes additional contingency if required. There is no guarantee of the volume required during the Contract Period or to the exact value of orders placed through it i.e. EA makes no commitment on the frequency or value of orders over the Contract Period. This will be a demand lead Contract for repair.Under this Contract Lot 1 South West and Lot 2 North have been awarded. Lot 3 East has not been awarded under the tender competition. Emergency repairs for Lot 3 can be carried out by the awarded Contractor compliantly as allowed for in the specification whilst the Authority identifies a new sourcing strategy for this Lot.

This Contract will be delivered across three Lots, based on EA’s three geographical locality splits across Northern Ireland:. Lot 1 - South West locality. Lot 2 - North locality. Lot 3 - North locality - this Lot was not awarded; however, emergency repairs shall be carried out by the awarded Contractor compliantly as allowable in the Specification until the Authority identify a suitable sourcing strategy for this Lot.
