Afan Valley Mountain Bike Trails 2024

Description of the goods or services required

Afan Forest Park is made up of several authorised mountain bike and walking trails that attracts a large number of visitors from around the UK every year. This infrastructure has been in place since 2001 and overtime has degraded.

Description of the works

The project consists of 2 Lots:

Lot 1 -

1. replace the ‘boardwalk’ section of ‘Energy’ with a more durable material, this is likley to involve some minor redesign of some of the boardwalk locations

2. improve and enhance the ‘Jetlag’, 1,770-meter final descent trail section of the Skyline Mountain bike route

Lot 2 -

remove and replace the existing technical boardwalk section of Afan Forest White’s Level, Goodwood Northshore, 'Goodwood’ is a Red graded (Difficult) mountain bike trail.

NSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST/COMPLETING THE Invitation To Tender (ITT).

1. Tenderers should register on the eTendering portal https://etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk

2. Once registered, suppliers must express their interest as follows:

a. Login to the etendering portal.

b. On the Dashboard go to area for PQQs/ITTs open to all suppliers.

c. Click on the number next to ITT_109476

d. Click on the down arrow next to filter box and select ITT_109476 Descriptions

e. In operator box select “contains” and in the value box type title of contract or reference number and click on search

f. Click on 'Express Interest' button in the 'Actions' box on the left-hand side of the page.

3. Once you have expressed your interest, the ITT will move to 'My ITTs', where you can download and where you can construct your reply as instructed.
