Hampshire County Council invite providers to tender for a Hampshire Carers Support Service.
This countywide service will offer a triaged support service for carers incorporating a small element of lower-level signposting with the bulk of the resource allocated to providing complex caseworker support, as well as delivering emergency support planning and emergency support plan activations. The word 'carer' refers to people of all ages who provide unpaid care to a relative, friend or neighbour who is in need of support because of mental or physical illness, age
or disability. It does not include people who volunteer or are paid workers; they should be referred to as 'care workers'.
