Abstract
The FlowWorks Media Asset Management system was procured by the National Broadcast Archive to receive the metadata and digital files of all broadcasters, also with the capability to accommodate NLW’s own audiovisual collection. Workflows and public interfaces are being developed for this system to deliver audiovisual content to locations all over Wales including an online interface for metadata.
The National Library of Wales is looking to make small developments on its Media Asset Management System, FlowWorks, and requires a call-off contract with one specialist developer company to quote for, and optionally deliver, small developments until 31st March 2025 from award of tender.
Only companies who can demonstrate previous experience of developing workflows and interface changes for the FlowWorks Media Asset Management System will be considered.
One example development has already been defined within the ITT documentation; outlines of additional tasks are also provided as examples of the work that could be delivered through this procurement.
Until 31st March 2025, the Library may at any time supply a detailed outcome specification for a development on the Library's FlowWorks system. The successful tenderer will consult with the Library to outline the development tasks required to deliver the outcome and will supply a quotation of effort and final delivery date. The Library at its own discretion may then place a Purchase Order for the specific development at the rate supplied in the successful tender.
