The East of England Service NHS Trust (“the Authority”) covers the six counties which make up the East of England – Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk and provides a range of services, but is best known for the 999-emergency service. Our dedicated and skilled staff work 365 days a year, 24 hours a day to make sure patients receive the best possible care.
The Authority employs more than 5,000 staff and more than 1,200 volunteers to deal with 1,400,000 emergency calls every year.
The Authority is seeking a Supplier to provide Building Cleaning Services at approximately 115 buildings covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Each location has varying requirements due to the design of the building and specified functional risk categories.
The provision of Building Cleaning Services shall include:
• Scheduled Cleaning Services
• Reactive Cleaning Services
• Window Cleaning Services (Interior and ad-hoc Exterior)
• Supply of Equipment and Cleaning Products (Chemicals)
• High Level and ad-hoc Deep Cleaning Services (on an ad-hoc basis)
Each location has varying requirements due to the design of the building and specified functional risk categories.
Due to the geographical spread of the regions, the ITT is split into 2 Lots:
Lot 1 (North) will cover Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire
Lot 2 (South) will cover Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Essex
The duration of the contract will be three (3) years with the Authority having the option to extend for up to two (2) further periods of up to twelve (12) months each.
