Abstract
This request for quote relates to marketing support for a relaunch of the initial project that is being delivered to the Swansea postcodes selling electricity from a 1MW community solar farm to up to 300 domestic consumers or small businesses.
Upon successfully securing 300 customers GPSS will look to roll out the project to other renewable energy schemes across the UK.
The project is being relaunched further to GPSS’ previous project partner having to withdraw due to operational challenges caused by COVID19. Ecotricity, Britain’s greenest energy company, are GPSS’ new project partner. Ecotricity is a licensed energy supplier and are providing customer service, billing, meter installation as well as topping up any
electricity that cannot be generated by the solar farm with other renewables.
This project is part-funded by European Regional Development Funds and backed by the Development Bank of Wales. Funds for the project are fully secured.
