The University of South Wales, Faculty of Computing, Engineering & Science, is seeking to purchase a Benchtop NMR in line with the specification and minimum requirements.

Minimum requirements

• Routine 1H NMR analysis

• Small foot print for situation on side bench – 70cm maximum

• Ability for students to print spectra directly or save to process elsewhere.

 The University has a site wide licence to Topspin. Please clearly state if your spectra are compatible with this software for further manipulation by students away from the lab OR if you can provide a free site wide licence for your own processing software.

• Ability to easily run liquid and solid samples

 Our students have access to a 400 MHz Bruker solely for undergraduate hands-on use. It is desirable that any proposed solution has the ability to allow for easy transition of samples between both if possible.

Desirable requirements

• Ability to also run 13C spectra

Fulfill the minimum requirements of the equipment in full;

Provide the information as requested in the quality assessment criteria;

Fully price up the tender as stipulated in the Tender document for all elements of the proposed equipment

Your tender submission must be uploaded to the Sell2Wales portal Postbox.

Your submission must be received by the closing time and date of midday, Wednesday 10th November 2021.

You should allow adequate time for the loading of your documents so as to ensure receipt as the postbox will electronically close at the deadline time and no further submissions will be accepted.

This notice has been cancelled. The original deadline date of 10/11/2021 is no longer applicable.

The submissions received didn’t justify an award in this instance. The disparity in the solutions proposed could not be compared effectively and hence value for money could not be demonstrated. USW are re evaluating the requirements.
