Abstract

Conservation and renovation of 2-5 Market Hill (including the Grade II listed former Caernarfon Castle public house) Holyhead to deliver 9no. residential apartments. The project will involve partial demolition of later extensions, new extensions and complete refurbishment of the retained existing buildings. The tender documentation includes drawings, specifications and bill of quantities. A ‘Meet the Buyer’ event with site visit will be held on 29th October 2024 with bookable slots available at 9am, 10am, 11am and 12pm. The works will include ground works and retaining walls, renewal of roof coverings, lime rendering, replacement floor slabs, new carpentry, insulating the existing envelope, new timber sash windows, conservation of existing windows, lime & gypsum plastering, replacement kitchens & bathrooms and full replacement of mechanical and electrical systems. The project targets achieving an EPC rating of B and includes the installation of solar panels.
