II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Supporting People Team has identified a need for a dedicated floating support service to deliver 20 units* of Housing related support for the following client groups:
a)People with a Learning and/or Physical Disability
b)People with a developmental disorder (i.e. autism)
c)People experiencing low level Mental health Issues
The service is being targeted at these client groups in order to deliver housing related support to vulnerable adults who would not normally meet the threshold of Learning/Physical Disability, Developmental disorder or Mental health to be picked up by Social Services/ Health. The service will support vulnerable adults who are at risk of homelessness that require support to maintain their tenancies and/or support to find suitable accommodation to live in.
