    Gateshead College has a need to appoint a suitably qualified organisation capable of provide a Facilities Management Service for the services detailed within this specification to the levels specified in the individual requirements:
    — Building Cleaning Services - to include general cleaning, window cleaning and roof cleaning,
    — Caretaking/portering,
    — Security services,
    — Ground Maintenance Services,
    — Driver/courier services,
    — Handyman,
    — Archive Management,
    — Asset Management.
    Gateshead College seeks to contract for high quality provision which complements but does not compete with its own provision of estates management.
    It is expected that 1 supplier will deliver all elements of the facilities management service. For the purposes of this tender there is no division of lots.

Economic operators may be excluded from participation if any of these circumstances applies. If an appeal regarding the award of contract has not been successfully resolved then the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by breach of the rules to take action in the High Court.
