Barcud Cyf are looking for an experienced Contractor to Undertake Refurbishment works at Overton Flats, King Street, Llandysul, SA4 44DG

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:

Community benefits covers a wide range of activities and Barcud Cyf asks its providers to understand and deliver the activities which creates the most value to our communities, these can include:

• Creating and maximising local opportunities within the local area.

• Training and recruitment opportunities for the long term economically inactive (long term economically inactive means those not been in paid employment in the last 3 months immediately prior to the date of this invitation)

• Volunteering days

• Landscaping/Building Services support to regenerate for communal areas

• Support for local youth groups and other community groups

• Sponsoring of mini sporting tournament or event

• Community newsletters advising on impact of service delivery

• Contributions to education such as work placements for secondary-school children and college students, landscaping/building services support to regenerate for school playgrounds

• Utilising local supply chains.
