Abstract

Description of the goods or services required
Conwy County Borough Council wishes to invite tenders from suitable Supplier(s) to supply, deliver and install a manual mobile shelving system and static storage system at its site known as Unit 4, Parc Caer Seion, Conwy, LL32 8FA.
The contract period will commence on 21st May, 2018. Please note that the Authority requires ALL storage solutions to be delivered AND installed by 29th June, 2018.

Total quantity or scope of tender
All bays of storage will be 1200mm shelf width, 400mm shelf depth and 30mm shelf thickness. Capable of storing 4 archive boxes per storage level at a 120kgs UDL min.
Archive boxes to be stored will be the following dimensions 370mm d x 280mm w x 260mm h.
The shelving is to be modular, single skin, closed wall construction shelving system in which the intermediate uprights support the shelves in adjoining bays.
The shelving system is to be finished in a White Smoke ‘RAL 9002’ polyester epoxy powder coat finish.
Mobile carriages to be a minimum of 114mm high and are to be of solid welded construction. The mobile carriage must be equipped with direct drive systems only.
