Description of the goods or services required

The Vale of Glamorgan Council (“the Council”) requires a single storey adaptation extension at 57 Laburnum way Penarth CF64 3NF, within the Vale of Glamorgan (“the Works”).

The Works will be in accordance with this Invitation to Tender and JCT Minor Works Building Contract 2016 (“the Agreement”).

The Works will include for an external single storey extension including for remodelling of wet room, sensory room and internal associated works

The Supplier must comply with Council and specialist specifications supplied within the tender pack.

The Supplier and any approved Sub Contractor will meet the Council’s service standards. The Supplier will be registered with CHAS or Constructionline and all operatives, whether employed by the Supplier or any approved Sub Contractor, will possess Cat B qualification (Asbestos Awareness). All operatives working on electrical and heating works will be Gas Safe, NICEIC registered respectively, or similar industry approved.
