Total quantity or scope of tender

The staff accommodation applicable to this scope is located within Chester railway

station on Platform 4/7a.

The platform 4/7a accommodation currently exists as a mess room facility comprising

of a quiet room, kitchenette and a separate Chargeman’s office. It is the Client’s

proposal to refurbish this area into the new operational Booking on Point (BoP) and

locker room together with a tea point and showers.

TfW require a Contractor to complete an internal building refurbishment including but

not limited to:

• Removal and replacement of Kitchen

• Erection of new partitions to form a resource/BoP Office

• Removal and replacement flooring

Internal decoration

• A new shower facility

• All aspects of Mechanical and electrical refurbishment to include new sockets,

lighting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and fire safety.
