Abstract

Swansea University is embarking on a Service Redesign over the next two years (2023-2025). This is the first time in recent years the university is to complete a change programme of this magnitude and significant changes on process and culture are expected. It has been decided that Change Leadership training and development opportunities are to be made available for the Professional Services Leadership Team (PSLT), who will be leading the redesign of their respective services. The PLST at Swansea University consists of approx.12-15 senior professional at Director level, with a diverse experience of change leadership. The requirements are set out as phase one and phase two however, phase two is an optional phase and therefore, at the discretion of the University. The University is not obligated to pay the Supplier the total value of the contract if it does not require phase two. Training and development should equip senior leaders to lead and drive change that will enable efficiency and effectiveness of services, deliver financial sustainability whilst successfully transitioning staff to new ways of working. The University is seeking specialist change leadership training, to be preferably delivered face to face at both Singleton and Bay Campuses.
