Site Investigation Enabling Works

Description of the goods or services required
The National Botanic Garden of Wales is embarking on an exciting project to restore the lakes and dams of the landscape designed in the Regency period. As part of this restoration project, and for existing dam maintenance, the Garden requires further site investigation. This contract is for preliminary tree clearance services to enable this SI and SI machinery and equipment.
All trees for removal/ specific pruning are marked on site, and the access corridors are clearly marked on the documents included with this tender. A site visit before tender submission is required, and personnel will be on site to facilitate this on Tuesday February 7th. The majority of tree felling must be complete by March 1st.
Contact details, maps, drawings and a Preliminary Tree Works Specification are included with this contract notice.

3 Conditions for Participation

Minimum standards and qualification required
All contractors must be suitably qualified and licenced to work to meet BS3998 Appendix A HSE Agriculture and Forestry Advisory Group standards. All contractors must have suitable and sufficient insurances and indemnities. Previous experience must be evidenced in tender application. Suitable method statements must be submitted. Contractors must be able to complete the majority of the work as specified within the timescales indicated (March 1st)
