Description of the contract
The requirement is for construction of an extension to an existing facility. The extension will measure approximately 30m by 45m with minimum 5.8m internal headroom. The extension will connect to the existing facility and be built over some existing structures.
Exterior Features
-Three roller shutter doors 4m wide by 5m high on the eastern elevation.
-One pedestrian door on each of the north, east and south elevations
-Approx. 18m opening on west side to connect to existing facility
-Associated groundworks, drainage and rainwater goods
Interior features
-Floor finished to food manufacturing standard
-Smooth interior lining to facilitate clean down procedures
-Drainage to facilitate clean down procedures
-Raised walkway for pedestrian access through southern elevation.
-One bay full height sealed partition to separate waste products.
-Additional partition to separate ‘wet’ and ‘dry’ processes
-3 stairways for pedestrian access to existing facility on higher level

Timescales
The facility shall be completed by March 2019.
