Abstract

START OF TENDER Lot 1 - To take delivery of 45 hanging baskets(470mm) with brackets and to plant up for hanging up by mid June at latest. To take delivery of 2 x pyramid displays for plant up for display by mid June (Week commencing 10th June) at the latest. Units will be delivered from Amberol ltd. Flowers to be colourful including Surfinia bergonia, trailing geranium, bidens ferulifolia, creeping Jenny OR SIMILAR (to be liased with clerk of the council). To provide storage of 45 hanging baskets when returned by Lot 2 supplier. To provide Winter flowers for pyramid displays to be ready from end of November (to include winter hardy plants, including cyclemen). Lot 2 - for collection of 45 hanging baskets and brackets for the positioning across Pen-y-Fai and Aberkenfig. For the collection of 2 x Pyramid displays to position 1 in Penyfai and 1 in Aberkenfig. Details of lamposts and pyramid position to be confirmed when contract awarded. Positioning of items to take place within 1 week of Lot 1 supplier informing readiness of flowers. At end of season to remove baskets and return to Lot 1 supplier ready for following year. To collect plants from Lot 1 supplier within 1 week of being informed of readiness, for to planting within the 2 x pyramid displays. At end of season to return pyramid displays to Lot 1supplier, in readiness for following summer display planting by end of March at latest. LOT 3 - For the watering and feeding of the hanging baskets and pyramid displays within NHCC during summer months. To include 2 x watering per week between July and end of September. If further watering required then a cost per individual watering should be quoted. The successful contractor will need to take delivery of 2 tiered planters and hanging baskets ready for planting.

Description of the goods or services required

START OF TENDER

Lot 1 - To take delivery of 45 hanging baskets(470mm) with brackets and to plant up for hanging up by mid June at latest. To take delivery of 2 x pyramid displays for plant up for display by mid June (Week commencing 10th June) at the latest. Units will be delivered from Amberol ltd.
