Abstract

-To develop a service that provides one to one support to people at risk of deteriorating mental health, in a welcoming and homely environment within the East Area. It will offer a place to go for people experiencing mental distress and their families for advice, support and the availability of a non-health based place of safety in line with the Crisis Care Concordat. -To provide the above support during times at which most other mental health and support based services are closed. -To sign post and broker support to people requiring support and advice along with frequent users of this service and other mental health services. -To develop a Community resource, to stop admitting people to hospital when it isn’t the best option and provide support in the community when people need time away from home, extra support or protection. -Promote recovery and resilience, providing services that don’t purely focus on treating or managing symptoms, but instead help people to live independent, fulfilling lives with the help and support they need. -To work closely with other Mental Health Services such as Local Primary Mental Health Support Service (LPMHSS) and Community Mental Health Teams (CHMT) for the benefit of service users. Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) are inviting a proposal from providers to deliver a mobile Lithotripsy service predominately for the treatment of renal stones. To be delivered from the BCUHB hospital site on Friday afternoons between 1pm and 5pm every fortnight.

All Services provided under the contract must be provided by an accredited individual, and all staff involved in service delivery will be of skilled experience and accreditation to carry out the procedures listed.
