The NHS Wales Informatics service requires an external resource to provide clinical coding training courses/workshops for clinical coders across NHS Wales to cover the period of August 2020–July 2020. The courses required are:

Clinical Coding Mental Health*

Clinical Coding Cardiovascular* Clinical Coding General Surgery*

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

All training delivered must be current to NHS Digital Clinical Classifications Service (CCS)standards, where applicable.

An NHS Digital Clinical Classifications Service (CCS) approved trainer must deliver all training delivered, where applicable.

Provision of the training courses listed under the optional requirements are subject to the demonstration of the development of an appropriate CCS-approved (or equivalent) specialty workshop curriculum.
