Description of the contract
The National Contemporary Art Gallery for Wales is in the remaining phase of its operational delivery. Sponsored by Welsh Government and delivered as a partnership project in a unique dispersed model, it is due for completion in March 2025. We now want to appoint a supplier to undertake a programme of work as part of the overall project monitoring and evaluation framework . Through this, you will work with the Project Director and other stakeholders to advise on, set and agree the methodology for the monitoring and evaluation of NCAGW as a capital project, giving consideration to its current impact and future benefits.
You will ensure that monitoring and evaluation is appropriate and proportionate and will support the benefits management process to ensure that the expected outcomes associated with the project can be tracked and evaluated. You will be responsible for carrying out the monitoring and evaluation activity within the agreed framework to achieve the following:
· Assess the performance of the NCAGW project against its agreed targets;
· Determine if the NCAGW project’s aims and outcomes are being or have been met and if not, the reasons why and barriers to delivery;
· Evaluate the effectiveness of the new ways of working this project is encouraging within lead partners;
· Assess the effectiveness of partnerships;
· Assess the effectiveness of project governance;
· Ensure that lessons learned are captured, shared and acted upon and will act as a legacy for future learning;
· Capture data and impacts that will ensure the NCAGW project operates as a future case study or to help leverage support in the future.
