Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council (the “Council”) invites Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the Design, Supply, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of a Public Space Surveillance (PSS) CCTV Camera System with a new transmission medium to be monitored from the Council’s existing PSS Control Room located at The Quays, Brunel Way, Neath SA11 2GG.
The Contract will also provide for the installation of cameras at new locations, provision of Small Works and the maintenance of the existing and upgraded CCTV systems.

2. Express an interest in the ITT.

In delivering this Contract, the Council is committed to pursuing ‘Community Benefits’ which will contribute to the social, economic and environmental well-being of the wider community. The Council believe procurement is key in helping to deliver a vibrant economy capable of delivering strong and sustainable growth.
The pursuit of Community Benefits through tender exercises and subsequent contracts ensure we achieve the best value for money in the widest sense.
Examples of Community Benefits are:

Tenderers are expected to identify how they will achieve Community Benefit’s during the life of this Contract, if successful, and are asked to outline their approach in their response to Method Statement 5.
The Community Benefit Plan will NOT be evaluated or scored as part of the tender process. However, the successful Supplier will be expected to deliver and report on the subsequent delivery of Community Benefits detailed in their Method Statement, throughout the life of the Contract.
