NRW is seeking to award a contract for the supply of an All Wales contract delivering FM Soft Service provision to all FFM Managed sites. The full specification is at Annex 1 Specification of Requirements, of this ITT.
The purpose of the requirement is cover routine, reactive, periodic and specialist cleaning of all Natural Resources Wales (NRW) offices and depots across Wales. Alongside the core element of cleaning the contract will provide for adhoc and static guarding. Therefore this contract will ensure our sites are clean, pest free and secure.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
NRW require a Contractor who will provide a comprehensive Cleaning Service throughout all offices and depots delivered in a safe and efficient manner. The Contractor will take responsibility for cleaning all internal areas including fixtures, fittings, furniture and finishes, to minimise degradation, enhance asset life cycle and ensure our standards and image are maintained.
The Contractor will undertake all tasks normally associated with a professional office cleaning contract, to ensure that the offices, toilets, shower rooms, kitchens, catering areas, public areas, meeting and conference rooms and all other working areas, furniture and floor spaces, are maintained.
The service will include the following
- Routine Cleaning
- Reactive Cleaning
- Feminine Hygiene
- Pest Control
NRW also need a security contractor who will provide a comprehensive security service throughout all offices and depots delivered in a safe and efficient manner. This will be a mixture of static guarding and keyholding service alongside a alarm response service. The nature of our business means that as well as the staff based at our offices there are a large number of other stakeholders; these can vary from protesters to VIP visitors, members of the public and contractors. We are looking for a security contractor which understands the nature of our business and can provide a professional service at the highest level

Note: Responses to this question will be built into any contract the contractor receives through via this contract and the successful contractor will be expected to deliver the Community Benefits detailed in their response throughout the life of the contract.
