Description of the contract
Life Sciences Hub Wales seeks to procure and implement a Framework Agreement for the provision of Design Services.
The intention is to procure a multi-vendor framework to provide ad-hoc design services and support to the Life Sciences Hub Wales Communications and Marketing team, as and when may be required.
The intention is to award a position on the framework to up to three (3) Suppliers on a tiered basis. The framework governance process is outlined below (Section 12). Each instance of activity as required by Life Sciences Hub Wales will be called-off via the framework as a distinct package of work.
Life Sciences Hub Wales envisages ad-hoc support on a range of design material and content, The nature of the projects and tasks required during the period of the agreement will be varied and dependant on priorities identified by Life Sciences Hub Wales.
As an indication, the scope of the requirement is likely to include, but is not limited to, the following:
- Creation of promotional flyers, digitally and in print, for a range of activities such as events and initiatives (etc) hosted by Life Sciences Hub Wales;
- Creation of corporate documents of medium length i.e. annual reports, whitepaper publications etc;
- Design of digital publications to maximise usability and interactivity of content, which may include navigation links and embedded media (for example);
- Development of event materials for larger-scale events or event series i.e. promotional materials, delegate packs and slide decks for online conference;
- Graphic design of promotional corporate giveaways and accessories for use at events i.e. branded notepads and pull-up banners / signage;
- Creation of branded stationery i.e. business cards utilising brand guidelines; and
- Creation of digital communications assets to include:
- Digital assets / media content (animations, gifs, infographics etc);
- Digital adverts (MPUs, banners etc).
For the avoidance of doubt note that the list provided above is not considered all-encompassing nor exhaustive and is provided only as a high-level indication of the likely requirement.
The actual requirement will be outlined in full detail to the framework Supplier(s) in each call-off instance.
