Carmarthenshire County Council is inviting tenders for the Provision of Catering Services at the following locations for the period 1st April 2016 to 31st March 2021:-
(i) Pembrey Country Park: Sidan Café/Restaurant and Ski Slope Cafeteria (Lot 1);
(ii) Pembrey Country Park: Beach Kiosk and the Provision of Mobile Catering Units at designated locations (Lot 2).
Open Day Event at Pembrey Country Park:-
The Authority is holding two open day events at Pembrey Country Park, Llanelli to give potential bidders an opportunity to view the premises and kitchen facilities prior to the closing date and return of tender submissions.
The first Open Day Event will be held on Tuesday 15th December 2015, between 10am and 2pm. A second date has provisionally been arranged for Thursday 7th January 2016, between 10am and 2pm. This event will be held if the Authority has sufficient interest and a number of attendees to warrant a second Open Day Event. Please note attendance to either event is via prior arrangement only. Short Description
The Catering Facilities will be required to serve snacks, light meals and refreshments during the day and early evening. Carmarthenshire County Council would expect the operator/ to maximise opening hours, including weekends, bank holidays and school holidays in agreement with the Countryside and Coast Manager.
The operator should take into account the usage of the Sidan Café/Restaurant by the caravan/camp site users, including the provision of clubhouse facilities.
The operator may in agreement with the Countryside and Coast apply for a license to serve alcohol.

Short Description
The Beach Kiosk will be required to serve snacks, light meal and refreshments during the day and early evening. Carmarthenshire County Council would expect the operator to maximise opening hours during weekends between 1st June and 31st September, bank holidays and school holidays in agreement with the Countryside and Coast Manager.
Mobile Catering units are to be provided by the successful contractor at the specified sites during weekends between 1st June and 31st September, bank holidays and school holidays in agreement with the Countryside and Coast Manager.
