Abstract

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking applications for the development of an interpretation plan, exhibition design and fit-out installation for Parc Howard Museum in Llanelli. This is the first phase of a long-term improvement plan, which includes building restoration works currently in progress. The contract is until 31 August 2022. The option to extend by a further 6 months is only available if either the quality of the outputs and outcomes are demonstrably increased because of the extension, or if other building works require flexibility within the programme. The maximum value of the contract is £60,000. Applications are evaluated on a 70:30 cost:quality ratio. You are asked to provide a proposed budget and total cost, and written responses to three quality questions. It is essential that you read and understand the additional questions in Appendix 1 because if selected as our preferred supplier, you will need to be able to demonstrate that you meet the County Council’s conditions set out in these pages. The project is financially supported by Llanelli Town Council and part of the project management duties will include providing reports to our partners and the Parc Howard Collaboration Group. The invitation to tender is open for a minimum of calendar 21 days from 15/10/2021. The last date for submissions is 08/11/2021. The anticipated contract start date is 06/12/2021.
